What kind of businesses is MIC looking for?
The Multicultural Innovation Center seeks to work with small businesses in the Rhode island area whether you're at the early stages of your business, have a stable storefront with employees, or somewhere in between. In short, we’re looking for people with a great idea and a drive to grow a successful company.
What happens after I apply?
After submitting a membership application and paying your preferred membership level fee, we will reach out to you to help get your business growing with the services you select.
Do I have to be a member to get the services?
At this time, you do need to be a MIC member in order to benefit from our business management services.
Is there parking?
Members and visitors have access to our parking lot behind the building. There's also free street parking.
Is there public transportation to MIC?
In Providence, there is a RIPTA bus line that stops nearby. The R-Line (Broad/North Main) runs every 10 minutes.
Can I change my membership type?
MIC memberships are billed on a month-to-month basis with no long-term commitment. You may cancel or upgrade your memberships at any time, we just ask that you give us a 10-day courtesy notice to make the appropriate changes to your account.
What amenities does MIC offer members?
As a MIC member, you have access to work and meeting space, various business consulting, fast internet access, bathroom facilities and free parking.
